§ 9-23. Insurance or bond.

No license shall be issued to an applicant unless the applicant furnishes proof to the city of a public liability bond or a general insurance policy in an amount not less than one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000.00) for personal injury and property damage in the operation of the merchant's business.
