§ 7-96. Voluntary commercial solid waste and recycling.
(a)
The city will provide a voluntary solid waste and recycling collection program for the commercial facilities. However, yard waste and limb collection will not be offered as a part of the voluntary commercial solid waste and recycling services.
(b)
A monthly fee will be charged for solid waste and recycling services that are subject to be modified by city council from time to time and reflected in the city's schedule of rates and fees. The fee for solid waste and recycling services rendered will be billed in the same manner as water and sewer services.
(c)
Container options for the solid waste and recycling services shall be one (1) of the following: ninety-six-gallon cart, four-, six-, and eight-yard containers based upon business needs. Commercial facilities may have a maximum of two (2) ninety-six-gallon (approximate) rollout carts where the automated system is used for the collection of solid waste and recyclables. In the event two (2) ninety-six-gallon carts do not provide sufficient storage between collections, the larger four-, six-, or eight-yard container units must be utilized as determined by the director of public works.
