§ 7-55. Miscellaneous waste.
Subject to the limitations provided herein, nail-free wood waste, including by way of example and not limitation, landscape timbers, fence posts, scrap lumber and plywood resulting from home and yard routine maintenance activities may be placed at the street curb for collection. Each item of wood waste may be any length but shall be no wider than six (6) inches and weigh no more than fifty (50) pounds. Small pieces of wood waste must be placed at the curb in bags. Wood waste collection shall be limited to two hundred (200) cubic feet per week as measured loosely stacked. Collection for miscellaneous waste is intended only for the collection of occasional home and yard wood waste associated with routine light maintenance. On-going construction, demolition or remodeling work will be considered construction and demolition waste in accordance with section 7-26 of this Code and will not be collected by the City.
