§ 17-37. Temporary interruption of service.

  • As necessity may arise in case of break, emergency or for other unavoidable cause, the city shall have the right to temporarily cut off the water supply in order to make necessary repairs and connections. In such a case, the city shall not be liable for any damage or inconvenience suffered by the consumer, nor for any claim against the city at any time for interruption in service, lessening of the supply, inadequate pressure, a poor quality of water, or for any reasonable cause beyond its control.
