§ 12-60. City parks.

Latest version.

(a)

The real property known as Midway Ball Field is hereby removed from the City of Kannapolis park system.

(b)

The real property known as Walter M. Safrit Park is hereby incorporated into the City of Kannapolis park system and shall hereafter be subject to chapter 12 of City of Kannapolis Code of Ordinances and all other laws relating thereto.

(c)

The real property known as Dale Earnhart Tribute Plaza is hereby incorporated into the City of Kannapolis park system and shall hereafter be subject to chapter 12 of the City of Kannapolis Code of Ordinances and all other relating thereto.

(d)

The real property known as Town Park shall hereafter be named Veterans Park.

(e)

The real property comprising the City of Kannapolis professional baseball stadium, with adjoining service building, clubhouse, parking facilities and entrance right-of-way is hereby incorporated into the City of Kannapolis park system and shall hereafter by subject to chapter 12 of the City of Kannapolis Code of Ordinances.
