§ 12-24. Enforcement of article.

(a)

In addition to any other enforcement action permitted by this Code of Ordinances, enforcement of this article is punishable by immediate suspension from the park for not more than 180 days. The city manager, the director of parks and recreation or the park managers are empowered to invoke this suspension. Authorized park personnel are empowered to invoke expulsion for not more than three (3) days. In addition, city police officers and authorized park personnel shall have the duty and responsibility to enforce this article and shall be empowered to issue citations for violations as set forth in section 12-25 when, in their judgment, any provisions have been violated.

(b)

Each person receiving a citation may within fifteen (15) days of its issuance pay, as a penalty in full satisfaction of such violation, the sum set forth in this article. Failure of such person to render payment of such amount within fifteen (15) days shall render such person subject to punishment for a misdemeanor.
