§ 10-76. Crosswalks and safety zones.

(a)

The manager is hereby authorized to:

(1)

Mark crosswalks where there is particular danger to pedestrians crossing the roadway;

(2)

Establish safety zones of such kind and character and at such places as may be necessary for the protection of pedestrians.

(b)

The effect of such crosswalks upon vehicles and pedestrians shall be as provided in G.S. Sections 20-173 and 20-174 and other provisions of law.
