§ 10-37. Riding on part of vehicle not intended for passengers.

  • No person may ride on any vehicle or upon any portion thereof not designed or intended for the use of passengers, nor shall the driver of such vehicle permit a person to so ride. This provision shall not apply to an employee engaged in the necessary discharge of a duty, or to persons riding within truck bodies in space intended for merchandise.
