§ 10-33. One-way streets or roadways.

  • (a)

    Whenever a street or roadway is designated one-way and traffic-control devices are installed in accordance with section 10-31(b), no person may drive a vehicle on such street or roadway except in the direction indicated by the traffic-control devices. (Note: G.S. Section 20-165.1 makes it unlawful to drive contrary to a sign erected by the state department of transportation.)

    (b)

    The streets or roadways set forth in section 4 of the traffic-control schedules are hereby designated one-way streets or roadways, and the manager shall install appropriate traffic-control devices at every intersection to indicate the direction of lawful traffic movement.
